But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and vanity; yet surely the justice due to me is with Jehovah, and my recompense with my God.And now saith Jehovah that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered unto him( for I am honorable in the eyes of Jehovah, and my God is become my strength);yea, he saith, It is too light a thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.Thus saith Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of Jehovah that is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who hath chosen thee.Thus saith Jehovah, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works.Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do.

For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thy hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

It pleased Jehovah, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable.

and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught.The Lord Jehovah hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting.For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand up together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure:Then said I, Lo, I am come( In the roll of the book it is written of me) To do thy will, O God.Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein( the which are offered according to the law),then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
