“ I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

“ I have a lot to say that will judge you. But the one who sent me can be trusted. And I tell the world what I have heard from him.”

I have much to say about you and much to judge, but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.”

以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道主人所做的事。我乃稱你們為朋友；因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。

那時，耶穌在殿裏教訓人，大聲說：「你們也知道我，也知道我從哪裏來；我來並不是由於自己。但那差我來的是真的。你們不認識他，

我將在神那裏所聽見的真理告訴了你們，現在你們卻想要殺我，這不是亞伯拉罕所行的事。

但我知道，你們心裏沒有神的愛。我奉我父的名來，你們並不接待我；若有別人奉自己的名來，你們倒要接待他。

他將所見所聞的見證出來，只是沒有人領受他的見證。那領受他見證的，就印上印，證明神是真的。

「我還有好些事要告訴你們，但你們現在擔當不了。

耶穌說：「我的教訓不是我自己的，乃是那差我來者的。

因為你所賜給我的道，我已經賜給他們，他們也領受了，又確實知道，我是從你出來的，並且信你差了我來。

論到麥基洗德，我們有好些話，並且難以解明，因為你們聽不進去。看你們學習的工夫，本該作師傅，誰知還得有人將神聖言小學的開端另教導你們，並且成了那必須吃奶、不能吃乾糧的人。

我指着信實的神說，我們向你們所傳的道，並沒有是而又非的。

耶穌說：「我為審判到這世上來，叫不能看見的，可以看見；能看見的，反瞎了眼。」同他在那裏的法利賽人聽見這話，就說：「難道我們也瞎了眼嗎？」耶穌對他們說：「你們若瞎了眼，就沒有罪了；但如今你們說『我們能看見』，所以你們的罪還在。」

就是判斷人，我的判斷也是真的；因為不是我獨自在這裏，還有差我來的父與我同在。你們的律法上也記着說：『兩個人的見證是真的。』

若有人聽見我的話不遵守，我不審判他。我來本不是要審判世界，乃是要拯救世界。棄絕我、不領受我話的人，有審判他的－就是我所講的道在末日要審判他。因為我沒有憑着自己講，惟有差我來的父已經給我命令，叫我說甚麼，講甚麼。我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此，我所講的話正是照着父對我所說的。」
