“ I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from him I tell the world.”

我不再称你们为奴仆，因为奴仆不知道主人所做的事。我却称你们为朋友，因为我把从我父所听到的一切，都让你们明白了。

耶稣在圣殿里教导人，呼喊说：“你们认识我，也知道我是从哪里来的。其实我不是凭自己而来的；派我来的那一位是真实的，你们却不认识他；

但如今，我把从神那里所听到的真理告诉了你们，你们就想杀我。亚伯拉罕没有做过这种事。

不过我了解你们，你们里面没有属神的爱。我奉我父的名来了，你们却不接受我；如果有别人奉自己的名而来，你们倒会接受他。

他见证他所看到的、他所听到的，可是没有人接受他的见证。那接受他见证的人，就印证了神是真实的。

“我还有很多事要告诉你们，可是你们现在担当不了，

耶稣回答他们，说：“我的教导不是我自己的，而是那派我来者的。

因为你所赐给我的话语，我已经给了他们。他们领受了，也确实知道我是从你而来的，并且相信是你差派了我。

关于这事，我们还有很多话要说，可是很难解释，因为你们听不进去了。其实从时间来说，你们早就应该做教师了，却还需要有人把神话语的基本原则重新教导你们；你们成了那需要吃奶、而不能吃干粮的人。

神是信实的，我们向你们传的话语，并没有“是”而又“非”。

耶稣说：“我到这世上来是为了行审判，使看不见的能看见，使看得见的反而瞎了眼。”与耶稣在那里的一些法利赛人听了这些话，就说：“难道我们也是瞎眼的吗？”耶稣对他们说：“如果你们是瞎眼的，就没有罪了。但如今你们说‘我们能看见’，所以你们的罪仍然存在。

不过，就算我评断，我的评断也是真实的，因为我不是独自一人，而是有那派我来的父与我同在。连你们的律法上也记载着：两个人的见证才是有效的。

如果有人听了我的话却不遵守，我不定他的罪；因为我来，不是为了定世人的罪，而是为了拯救世人。拒绝我，又不接受我话的人，自有定他罪的：我所讲的话语，在末日要定他的罪。这是因为我没有凭自己讲话，而是派我来的父给了我命令，要我说什么和讲什么。我知道他的命令就是永恒的生命。所以我所讲的，正是照着父所告诉我的来讲的。”
