They said therefore to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌回答說：「我不是早就告訴你們了嗎？

他們就問：“你是誰？”耶穌說：“我不是從起初就告訴你們嗎？

於是他們問耶穌說：『你、是誰？』耶穌對他們說：『總而言之，就是我同你們所講論的。

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌說：「我從一開始就告訴你們了。

眾曰、爾為誰、曰、即自始所言於爾者、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、我昔言之矣、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、即我自始所告爾者、

眾問曰：『爾果誰歟？』耶穌曰：『予乃無始之始、而今為爾說道者是！

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning.

“ Who are you?” they demanded. Jesus replied,“ The one I have always claimed to be.

“ Who are you?” they questioned.“ Exactly what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

Then they were saying to Him,“ Who are You?” Jesus said to them,“ What have I even been saying to you from the beginning?

Then they said to Him,“ Who are You?” And Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? Jesus said unto them, Even that which I have also spoken unto you from the beginning.

“ Who are You?” they questioned.“ Precisely what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even[ the same] that I said unto you from the beginning.

So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus replied,“ What I have told you from the beginning.

This is John’s testimony, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him,“ Who are you?”

They said therefore to him,“ Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Jesus,“ Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.

The Jews therefore came around him and said to him,“ How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

“ If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them,“ If I tell you, you won’t believe,

Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.Jesus therefore answered them,“ Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him.“ Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
