Jesus replied,“ You people are from below; I am from above. You people are from this world; I am not from this world.

耶穌曰：『爾自地出、予自天降；爾屬斯世、予則不屬斯世；

But he continued,“ You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

But Jesus said,“ You are from below. I am from heaven. You are from this world. I am not from this world.

He said to them,“ You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Jesus continued,“ You are from below; I am from above. You belong to this world; I do not.

“ You are from below,” he told them,“ I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And He was saying to them,“ You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.

And He said to them,“ You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

“ You are from below,” He told them,“ I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

He said to them,“ You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.

The one who comes from above is superior to all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is superior to all.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,because all that is in the world( the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.

I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.

They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world’s perspective and the world listens to them.We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.

Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory– the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.

because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.

“ If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me first.If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you do not belong to the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.

Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.But our citizenship is in heaven– and we also await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,who will transform these humble bodies of ours into the likeness of his glorious body by means of that power by which he is able to subject all things to himself.

As for the actions of people– just as you have commanded, I have not followed in the footsteps of violent men.

No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven– the Son of Man.

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly.
