耶穌復告人曰：『予往矣！爾曹追尋於予、而將死於罪孽之中、予之所往、爾莫得而至焉。』

Once more Jesus said to them,“ I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.”

So he said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

Then Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”

He said therefore again unto them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Then He said to them again,“ I’m going away; you will look for Me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Then Jesus said to them again,“ I am going away, and you will look for me but will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come.”

Jesus said therefore again to them,“ I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”

You will look for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come.” (niv)

I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” (niv)

“ My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. (niv)

Hopes placed in mortals die with them; all the promise of their power comes to nothing. (niv)

At that time if anyone says to you,‘ Look, here is the Messiah!’ or,‘ There he is!’ do not believe it.For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (niv)

“ Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. (niv)

For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say,‘ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” (niv)

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, (niv)

The youthful vigor that fills his bones will lie with him in the dust. (niv)

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (niv)

Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin.How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors!They are like a dream when one awakes; when you arise, Lord, you will despise them as fantasies. (niv)

As surely as the Lord your God lives, there is not a nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to look for you. And whenever a nation or kingdom claimed you were not there, he made them swear they could not find you. (niv)

“ The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.So he called to him,‘ Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’“ But Abraham replied,‘ Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ (niv)

When I say to a wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself. (niv)

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God. (niv)

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. (niv)

He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die. (niv)

“ Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” (niv)

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. (niv)

“ Look,” they said,“ we your servants have fifty able men. Let them go and look for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.”“ No,” Elisha replied,“ do not send them.”But they persisted until he was too embarrassed to refuse. So he said,“ Send them.” And they sent fifty men, who searched for three days but did not find him. (niv)
