Jesus answered,“ Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going. But you people do not know where I came from or where I am going.

耶穌曰：『吾雖自證、吾證不虛、蓋予自知從何而來、向何而往；爾曹則不知予之何自何往也。

Jesus answered,“ Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.

Jesus answered,“ Even if I am a witness about myself, what I say does count. I know where I came from. And I know where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going.

Jesus answered,“ Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

Jesus told them,“ These claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going, but you don’t know this about me.

“ Even if I testify about myself,” Jesus replied,“ My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Even if I am testifying about Myself, My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Even if I bear witness of myself, my witness is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye know not whence I come, or whither I go.

“ Even if I testify about Myself,” Jesus replied,“ My testimony is valid, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself,[ yet] my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.

Jesus answered them,“ Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going.

Because Jesus knew that the Father had handed all things over to him, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,

I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds.

Jesus replied,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on my own initiative, but he sent me.

I have become a fool. You yourselves forced me to do it, for I should have been commended by you. For I lack nothing in comparison to those“ super- apostles,” even though I am nothing.

( Now the man Moses was very humble, more so than any man on the face of the earth.)

Have you been thinking all this time that we have been defending ourselves to you? We are speaking in Christ before God, and everything we do, dear friends, is to build you up.

just as the Father knows me and I know the Father– and I lay down my life for the sheep.

“ To the angel of the church in Laodicea write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation:

because I have given them the words you have given me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

do you say about the one whom the Father set apart and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

We know that God has spoken to Moses! We do not know where this man comes from!”The man replied,“ This is a remarkable thing, that you don’t know where he comes from, and yet he caused me to see!

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed forever, knows I am not lying.

But we know where this man comes from. Whenever the Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from.”Then Jesus, while teaching in the temple courts, cried out,“ You both know me and know where I come from! And I have not come on my own initiative, but the one who sent me is true. You do not know him,but I know him, because I have come from him and he sent me.”

From the day that I was appointed governor in the land of Judah, that is, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes– twelve years in all– neither I nor my relatives ate the food allotted to the governor.But the former governors who preceded me had burdened the people and had taken food and wine from them, in addition to forty shekels of silver. Their associates were also domineering over the people. But I did not behave in this way, due to my fear of God.I gave myself to the work on this wall, without even purchasing a field. All my associates were gathered there for the work.There were 150 Jews and officials who dined with me routinely, in addition to those who came to us from the nations all around us.Every day one ox, six select sheep, and some birds were prepared for me, and every ten days all kinds of wine in abundance. Despite all this I did not require the food allotted to the governor, for the work was demanding on this people.Please remember me for good, O my God, for all that I have done for this people.
