When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

予之來、所以為世之光、庶幾信予者不復滯留於黑暗之中。

吾之在世、所以為世之光也。』

耶穌曰：『光處爾曹之中、尚有片時、及爾有光、爾當勉行、毋使暗冥襲爾、行於黑暗中者、不自知其所往、

爾曹乃世間之光也城建於山、不能隱也；

斯道之內。蘊有生命。生命即光。生靈所稟。光照冥冥。冥冥不領。天主遣使。名曰如望。如望之來。惟以證光。俾我元元。藉以起信。渠非真光。真光之證。惟彼真光。普照生靈。凡生於世。資之以明。

昔者天神之干罪也、天主且毅然投之地獄、囚之冥府、以待審判。

導民於正、福音是布；蕩污滌穢、宿罪攸除。憑主慈腸、東方已曙；

夫真光入世、而世人以行為邪惡故、獨愛黑暗、而不愛光明；故曰譴在其中矣。

蓋謙者必蒙升。而驕者必見抑。

此亦所以應驗先知意灑雅之言云：『西布倫、吶大呤、地濱海、約但外；加利利、異邦地、厥民處暗中、竟得睹大明；向居死蔭下、倏見曙光臨。』

凡誠心行其聖意者、必能明辯斯道之是否出於天主、抑由予自言也。

即基督必遇害、且自死中復活。而真光之布於兆民萬邦、實以基督為始。』

光明播心田。神樂湧如泉。

耶穌曰：『予即途也、真諦也、生命也。人欲諧父、舍予末由。

天下萬國皆得行於斯光之中。而率土百王、咸將歸其榮華於斯光。

普天生靈、咸仰其惠；萬國之光、義塞之輝！』

主嘗示曰：「我立爾為萬國光、普施救恩於寰宇。」』

斯輩乃無水之泉源、又如浮雲隨風飄蕩、終歸無明而已矣。

更有不守本位、擅離本宅之天神、主亦永繫以鎖鍊、囚之幽獄、以待大審判日。

一生圖安樂。人謂善求福。

狂浪無鄉、長吐堪羞之沫；流星離宅、永歸漆黑之淵。
