耶穌復語眾曰、我乃世之光、從我者、不行於暗、必有維生之光、

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus spoke to the people again. He said,“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness. They will have that light. They will have life.”

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said,“ I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,“ I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.

我乃光臨於世、俾信者弗居於暗、

我在世、乃世之光、

耶穌曰、光在爾中、暫耳、有光則宜行、免暗及爾、行於暗者、不知所往矣、

爾乃世之光、邑建於山、不能隱也、

上帝救贖我魂、免入坑坎、我之生命、復睹光明、

生在其中、生者人之光也、光燭於暗、而暗弗識之、有上帝所遣者、曰約翰、彼來作證、即為光作證、俾眾由之而信、斯人非光、特為光作證耳、是有真光、普照凡入世之人、

夫上帝既不惜干罪之天使、投之暗府、付之幽坎、守以待鞫、

即因我上帝矜恤之心、使旭日自上臨我、照夫居於幽暗及死蔭者、導我履平康之路、○

是鞫也、因光臨世、而人愛暗愈於光、以其行惡也、

爾必燃我之燈、上帝耶和華、必燭我幽暗兮、

處暗之民、得見大光、居陰翳之域者、有光照之、

爾其興起炫耀、蓋爾光已至、耶和華之榮著於爾上矣、幽暗將蒙大地、晦冥將蔽兆民、惟耶和華必起而臨爾、其榮顯於爾中、諸國將即爾光、列王就爾顯著之耀、

彼謂我曰、爾為我僕、振興雅各支派、使以色列蒙保全者、得以復返、此猶細故、我必立爾為列邦之光、施我拯救、迄於地極、

惟爾寅畏我名者、義日將為爾出、其翼施醫、爾將出而踴躍、如牢中之犢、

爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其僕之聲乎、行於幽暗、不得光明者、宜恃耶和華名、賴其上帝、

應先知以賽亞所言云、面海之西布倫拿弗他利地、即約但外異邦之加利利、其處暗之民、已見大光、處死地陰翳者、有光昇及之、

人願行其旨、必知斯訓、或由上帝、或我由己而言矣、

曰、我耶和華以義召爾、必攜爾手而護爾、使爾為與民立約之據、亦為列邦之光、啟瞽者之目、出囹圄之囚、處幽暗者、出之於獄、

即基督必受害、本其由死復起、光照斯民、及異邦人也、○

光輝為行義者而佈、喜樂為心正者所獲、

耶穌曰、我即途也、誠也、生也、非由我、則無人就父、

列邦將藉其光而行、世上諸王、以其榮歸之、

為光以照異邦、亦為爾以色列民之榮、

蓋主如是命我儕云、我已立爾為異邦之光、俾爾為濟救、至於地極、

若輩猶枯泉、狂風所蕩之霧、有晦而暗者待之、

我儕當識耶和華、黽勉而識之、其見也、若晨光之準、其臨也、若甘雨、若潤土之春雨、○

又有天使不守職位、去其居所、主以縲絏永拘之於幽冥、以待大日之鞫、

然彼歸其歷代之祖、永不見光兮、

為海之狂波、沫噴其辱、為流蕩之星、而幽暗冥冥、永留以待、
