The following night, the Lord stood by him and said,“ Have courage! For as you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

He spoke these words by the treasury, while teaching in the temple complex. But no one seized Him, because His hour had not come.

“ Jesus the Nazarene,” they answered.“ I am He,” Jesus told them. Judas, who betrayed Him, was also standing with them.When He told them,“ I am He,” they stepped back and fell to the ground.

For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to hurt you, because I have many people in this city.”

For this night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me,and said,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And, look! God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’Therefore, take courage, men, because I believe God that it will be just the way it was told to me.
