於是猶太人就彼此說：『這個人要往哪裏去，使我們找不着他呢？難道他要往希利尼人的散僑中去教訓希利尼人麼？

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不遇耶、豈往散處於希利尼人中者、而訓希利尼人乎、

猶太人私語曰、其將何往、而我不遇之、豈欲就散處於希利尼者、而教希利尼人乎、

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不能遇之、豈欲往就散處於希拉人中之猶太人、而教希拉人乎、

猶太人相語曰：『彼將何往、而使吾人覓而不獲耶？意者彼將周遊列國、以教萬民歟？

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man plan to go? Does he think we can’t find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks? Will he go there to teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jewish leaders were puzzled by this statement.“ Where is he planning to go?” they asked.“ Is he thinking of leaving the country and going to the Jews in other lands? Maybe he will even teach the Greeks!

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does he intend to go that we won’t find him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does he?

The Jews then said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? He does not intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then the Jews said among themselves,“ Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does He intend to go so we won’t find Him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

Then the Jewish leaders said to one another,“ Where is he going to go that we cannot find him? He is not going to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he?

The Jews therefore said among themselves,“ Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

上帝和主耶穌基督的僕人雅各、給散僑中的十二支派請安。

從古實河外那些懇求我的、我那被分散的子民、必帶供物來獻與我。

耶穌基督的使徒彼得寫信給蒙揀選的散僑，寄居在本都、加拉太、加帕多家、亞西亞、庇推尼的人，

他必向列國豎起旌旗，聚集以色列被趕散的人，從地的四角招集被分散的猶大人。

那時上來、要在節期中敬拜的、有幾個希利尼人。

這恩典賜給了我，竟給我這比眾聖徒最小的還小的人，叫我把基督那追尋不盡之豐富傳給外國人，

眾人聽了這些話，都靜默不言，只將榮耀歸與上帝說：『這樣看來，上帝把悔改以得生命的恩也給了外國人了。』

當那日子、耶西的根所生的、那要立作萬族之民的旌旗的、列國人必尋求他；他的安居所必大有榮耀。

願上帝恩待我們，賜福與我們，用他的聖容光照我們；（細拉）好叫人在地上得知你的道路，在萬國中得知你的拯救。

上帝願意使他們知道這奧祕的榮耀在外國人中是何等的豐富，就是：基督在你們心裏、成了得榮耀的盼望。

對外國人做啓示的光、又做你民以色列之榮耀的。』

是這位永恆主說：『你做我僕人，使雅各眾族派得以重立起來，使以色列中得保存的能夠歸回——這還是輕微的事，我還要使你做外國人之光，使我的拯救能施到地儘邊呢。』

猶太人就說：『他說「我所去的地方、你們不能到」，難道他要自殺麼？』

當那日子永恆主必打果實，從幼發拉底河流域打到埃及溪；你們呢、以色列人哪，你們必一個一個被撿回來。當那日子必有大號角聲吹出，那些迷失於亞述地的、和那些被趕散於埃及地的、都必來，在聖山上、在耶路撒冷、敬拜永恆主。

外國人都要靠望他的名。』

為這福音、我被立做報信者、做使徒、做教師；

主對我說：「你去，我要差遣你出去到遠方去找外國人。」』

為了這個、我被立做報信者、做使徒（我說實話，並不撒謊），在信仰和真理上做外國人的教師。

永恆主使人知道他的得勝，他在列國人眼前啓現出他的義氣；他記得他向以色列家所應許的堅愛和可信；地的四極都看見我們上帝的拯救。

保羅和巴拿巴卻放膽直說：『上帝之道先對你們講、是必須的，你們既把它推開，斷定自己為不配得永生的，那你就看吧，我們轉向外國人了。因為主曾這樣囑咐我們說：「我立了你做外國人的光，使你做救星直到地極。」』外國人聽了，就歡喜，將榮耀歸於主的道；凡被定得永生的都信了。

他們聽見人口傳你的事，說你教授叛教之道，叫外國中所有的猶太人違背摩西，說不要給孩子行割禮；也不要按規矩行。
