於是猶太人就彼此說：『這個人要往哪裏去，使我們找不着他呢？難道他要往希利尼人的散僑中去教訓希利尼人麼？

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不遇耶、豈往散處於希利尼人中者、而訓希利尼人乎、

猶太人私語曰、其將何往、而我不遇之、豈欲就散處於希利尼者、而教希利尼人乎、

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不能遇之、豈欲往就散處於希拉人中之猶太人、而教希拉人乎、

猶太人相語曰：『彼將何往、而使吾人覓而不獲耶？意者彼將周遊列國、以教萬民歟？

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man plan to go? Does he think we can’t find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks? Will he go there to teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jewish leaders were puzzled by this statement.“ Where is he planning to go?” they asked.“ Is he thinking of leaving the country and going to the Jews in other lands? Maybe he will even teach the Greeks!

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does he intend to go that we won’t find him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does he?

The Jews then said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? He does not intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then the Jews said among themselves,“ Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does He intend to go so we won’t find Him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

Then the Jewish leaders said to one another,“ Where is he going to go that we cannot find him? He is not going to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he?

The Jews therefore said among themselves,“ Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

神和主耶穌基督的奴僕雅各，問候散居在各地的十二個支派。

耶穌基督的使徒彼得，致那些蒙揀選，分散在本都、加拉太、卡帕多細亞、亞細亞、比提尼亞寄居的人，

他必向列國豎起旗幟，招聚被驅散的以色列人，又從地的四角聚集被分散的猶大人。

當時，上來過節敬拜的人中，有一些希臘人。

我在所有聖徒中，比最小的還小，但被賜予了這恩典，是為了把基督那無法測度的豐盛傳給外邦人；

他們聽了這些話就安靜下來，然後就榮耀神，說：「這樣，神把悔改的心也賜給外邦人，使他們得生命。」

到那日，耶西的根必立起，作萬民的旗幟；列國必尋求他，他安息之所必大有榮耀。

願神恩待我們、祝福我們，願他的臉照亮我們！細拉這樣，你的道路就顯明在地上，你的救恩就顯明在萬國中。

神願意在外邦人中，讓他們明白什麼是這奧祕的榮耀的豐盛；那就是：基督在你們裡面，他是榮耀的盼望！

他是啟示外邦人的光，是你子民以色列的榮耀。」

——現在耶和華說：「你作為我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興、使以色列中蒙保守的人回歸，只是小事！我還要使你作列國之光，使我的救恩達到地極。」

那些猶太人就說：「他說『我去的地方，你們不能去』，難道他要自殺嗎？」

到那日，耶和華要從幼發拉底河到埃及溪谷，打收穀物——以色列子孫哪，你們必被一個一個撿拾回來！到那日，必有大號角吹響，那些在亞述地快要滅亡的，以及那些被驅趕到埃及地的都要來，在耶路撒冷的聖山敬拜耶和華。

外邦人將要仰望他的名。」

為了這福音，我受指派做傳道者、使徒和教師。

「主對我說：『去吧！我要派你到遙遠的外邦人那裡去。』」

為此，我受指派做傳道者和使徒，在信仰和真理上做外邦人的教師。我說的是真話，沒有說謊。

耶和華顯明了他的救恩，在列國眼前顯出他的公義。他記念他對以色列家的慈愛和信實，所有的地極都看見我們神的救恩。

保羅和巴拿巴就放膽直言，說：「神的話語先傳給你們是必須的。既然你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永恆的生命，看哪，我們就轉向外邦人，因為主是這樣吩咐我們的：『我已經指派你為外邦人的光，使你把救恩帶到地極。』」外邦人聽了這話就感到歡喜，不住地榮耀主的福音，凡是被預定進入永恆生命的人都信了。

他們聽到有關你的事，說你教導所有在外邦人中的猶太人離道反教、背棄摩西，叫他們不要給孩子行割禮，也不要按規矩行事。
