猶太人彼此說：“這個人要到哪裡去，使我們找不著他呢？難道他要到散居在希臘人中的猶太人那裡，去教導希臘人嗎？

於是猶太人就彼此說：『這個人要往哪裏去，使我們找不着他呢？難道他要往希利尼人的散僑中去教訓希利尼人麼？

那些猶太人彼此問：「這個人要到哪裡去，讓我們找不到他呢？難道他要往散居在希臘人中的猶太僑民那裡，去教導希臘人嗎？

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不遇耶、豈往散處於希利尼人中者、而訓希利尼人乎、

猶太人私語曰、其將何往、而我不遇之、豈欲就散處於希利尼者、而教希利尼人乎、

猶太人相語曰、彼將何往、使我不能遇之、豈欲往就散處於希拉人中之猶太人、而教希拉人乎、

猶太人相語曰：『彼將何往、而使吾人覓而不獲耶？意者彼將周遊列國、以教萬民歟？

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man plan to go? Does he think we can’t find him? Will he go where our people live scattered among the Greeks? Will he go there to teach the Greeks?

The Jews said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jewish leaders were puzzled by this statement.“ Where is he planning to go?” they asked.“ Is he thinking of leaving the country and going to the Jews in other lands? Maybe he will even teach the Greeks!

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does he intend to go that we won’t find him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does he?

The Jews then said to one another,“ Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? He does not intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then the Jews said among themselves,“ Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

Then the Jews said to one another,“ Where does He intend to go so we won’t find Him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, does He?

Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

Then the Jewish leaders said to one another,“ Where is he going to go that we cannot find him? He is not going to go to the Jewish people dispersed among the Greeks and teach the Greeks, is he?

The Jews therefore said among themselves,“ Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

神和主耶穌基督的僕人雅各，向散居各地的十二支派問安。

敬拜我的人，就是我所分散的人，必從古實河外而來，給我獻上禮物。

耶穌基督的使徒彼得，寫信給那分散在本都、加拉太、加帕多家、亞西亞、庇推尼寄居的人，

他必向列國豎起旗幟，召聚以色列被擄去的人，又從地的四方聚集分散了的猶大人。

上去過節作禮拜的人中，有些是希臘人。

我本來比聖徒中最小的還小，神還是賜給我這恩典，要我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外族人，

眾人聽見這些話，就默然無聲，把榮耀歸給神，說：“這樣看來，神也把悔改的心賜給外族人，使他們得生命。”

到那日，耶西的根必豎立起來，作萬族的旗幟；列國的人必尋求他，他安息之所必大有榮耀。

願神恩待我們，賜福給我們，願他用臉光照我們，（細拉）好使全地得知你的道路，萬國得知你的救恩。

神願意使他們知道這奧祕在外族人中有多麼榮耀的豐盛，這奧祕就是基督在你們裡面成了榮耀的盼望。

為要作外族人啟示的光，和你民以色列的榮耀。”

“你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中得保全的歸回，只是小事，我還要使你作列國的光，使我的救恩傳到地極。”

於是猶太人說：“他說‘我去的地方，你們不能到’，難道他要自殺嗎？”

到那日，耶和華要從幼發拉底的溪流，直到埃及小河，收集他的穀物；以色列人哪！你們必一個一個被撿拾回來。到那日，必有大號角吹響，那些在亞述地快要滅亡的，以及那些被趕散在埃及地的，都要前來，在耶路撒冷的聖山上敬拜耶和華。

萬民都要寄望於他的名。”

為這福音，我被派作傳道的、使徒和教師。

他對我說：‘你走吧，我要派你到遠方的外族人那裡去。’”

為了這事，我也被派作傳道的和使徒（我說的是真話，不是謊言），在信仰和真理上作外族人的教師。

耶和華顯明了他的救恩，在列國眼前顯示了他的公義。他記念他向以色列家所應許的慈愛和信實，地的四極都看見我們神的救恩。

保羅和巴拿巴卻放膽說：“神的道，先講給你們聽，是應該的。但因為你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永生，所以我們現在就轉向外族人去了。因為主曾這樣吩咐我們說：‘我已立你作外族人的光，使你把救恩帶到地極去。’”外族人聽見了就歡喜，讚美主的道，凡指定得永生的都信了。

他們聽說，你教導所有在外族人中的猶太人背棄摩西，叫他們不要給孩子行割禮，也不要遵守規例。
