And all the crowds were astounded and said,“ Perhaps this is the Son of David!”When the Pharisees heard this, they said,“ The man drives out demons only by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.”

Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple police, and the elders who had come for Him,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs as if I were a criminal?Every day while I was with you in the temple complex, you never laid a hand on Me. But this is your hour— and the dominion of darkness.”

Then the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look— the world has gone after Him!”
