眾中多信之、曰、基督至、其行異蹟、多於斯人乎、

民多信之曰、基督若至、行異跡、豈多於此人乎、○

民多信之、曰、基督來時、將行異跡、豈多於此人所行者乎、

顧民間信奉之者亦不在少數、其言曰：『基督降臨時、其所行靈蹟、寧能多於斯人之所行乎？』

Still, many in the crowd believed in him. They said,“ When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?”

Still, many people in the crowd believed in him. They said,“ How will it be when the Messiah comes? Will he do more signs than this man?”

Yet many of the people believed in him. They said,“ When the Christ appears, will he do more signs than this man has done?”

Many among the crowds at the Temple believed in him.“ After all,” they said,“ would you expect the Messiah to do more miraculous signs than this man has done?”

However, many from the crowd believed in him and said,“ When the Messiah comes, he won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will he?”

But many of the crowd believed in Him; and they were saying,“ When the Christ comes, He will not perform more signs than those which this man has done, will He?”

And many of the people believed in Him, and said,“ When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”

But of the multitude many believed on him; and they said, When the Christ shall come, will he do more signs than those which this man hath done?

However, many from the crowd believed in Him and said,“ When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will He?”

And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this[ man] hath done?

Yet many of the crowd believed in him and said,“ Whenever the Christ comes, he won’t perform more miraculous signs than this man did, will he?”

But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said,“ When the Christ comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”

雖然如此，官長中卻有好些信他的，只因法利賽人的緣故不敢承認，恐怕被趕出會堂。

眾人都驚奇，說：「這不是大衛之子嗎？」

那些在磐石上的，就是人聽道，歡喜領受，但沒有根，不過暫時相信，等到碰上試煉就退後了。

有一大羣人因為看見他在病人身上所行的神蹟，就跟隨他。

西門自己也信了；既受了洗，就常與腓利在一處，看見他所行的神蹟和大異能，就覺得很驚奇。

這是耶穌所行的第一個神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的，顯出了他的榮耀來，他的門徒就信他了。

耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，有許多人看見他所行的神蹟，就信了他的名。耶穌自己卻不信任他們，因為他認識所有的人，

有許多人來到他那裏，說：「約翰沒有行過一件神蹟，但約翰所說有關這人的一切話都是真的。」在那裏，許多人信了耶穌。

耶穌說這些話的時候，有許多人信了他。耶穌對信他的猶太人說：「你們若繼續遵守我的道，就真是我的門徒了。你們將認識真理，真理會使你們自由。」

因為有許多猶太人為了拉撒路的緣故，開始背離他們，信了耶穌。

所以，就如身體沒有靈魂是死的，信心沒有行為也是死的。

於是法利賽人中有的說：「這個人不是從神來的，因為他不守安息日。」另有的說：「一個罪人怎能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們之間就產生了分裂。

人們看見耶穌所行的神蹟，就說：「這真是那要到世上來的先知！」耶穌知道他們要來強迫他作王，就獨自又退到山上去了。

於是來看馬利亞的猶太人中，有很多人見了耶穌所做的事，就信了他。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：「拉比，我們知道你是由神那裏來作老師的；因為你所行的神蹟，若沒有神同在，無人能行。」

問耶穌：「將要來的那位就是你嗎？還是我們要等候另一位呢？」耶穌回答他們：「你們去，把所聽見、所看見的告訴約翰：就是盲人看見，瘸子行走，痲瘋病人得潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人聽到福音。凡不因我跌倒的有福了！」

那城裏有好些撒瑪利亞人信了耶穌，因為那婦人作見證，說：「他把我素來所做的一切事都說了出來。」
