耶稣还在和众人说话的时候，祂的母亲和兄弟站在外面，想要跟祂说话。

原来连祂的弟弟们也不信祂。

这时，耶稣的母亲和兄弟来找祂，由于人太多，他们无法靠近耶稣，

他们走了以后，耶稣避开了人们的注意，暗地里上去过节。

大卫的长兄以利押听见他跟人说话，就愤怒地对他说：“你来这里做什么？你把旷野的那几只羊交给谁了？我知道你骄傲自大，心怀恶意，你来只是想看打仗。”

你的弟兄和家人都背叛了你，与你作对。任他们甜言蜜语，你不要相信。

这时候，耶稣的母亲和弟兄来了，他们站在外面，托人叫耶稣。

约瑟做了一个梦，并告诉了哥哥们，他们更恨他了。约瑟对哥哥们说：“你们听听我做的梦——我们在田里捆庄稼，我捆的庄稼站起来，你们捆的庄稼都围着我捆的庄稼下拜。”他的哥哥们回答说：“难道你真想做我们的王统治我们吗？”他们因约瑟的梦和他说的话而更恨他。后来，约瑟又做了一个梦，他又去对哥哥们说：“你们听听我做的另一个梦，我梦见太阳、月亮和十一颗星星都向我下拜。”约瑟把梦告诉了父亲和哥哥们，他父亲就责备他说：“你做的是什么梦！难道你的父母弟兄都要来向你俯伏下拜吗？”约瑟的哥哥们嫉恨他，他父亲却把这些话记在心里。

来吧！我们杀了他，把他扔在井里，就说有野兽把他吃掉了，看他的梦怎么实现。”

他们派了自己的门徒跟希律党人一同去问耶稣：“老师，我们知道你诚实无伪，按真理传上帝的道，你不徇情面，不以貌取人。那么请告诉我们，纳税给凯撒对不对呢？”

彼得和其他十一位使徒都站起来，他大声对众人说：“各位犹太同胞和住在耶路撒冷的人啊，请留心听！我告诉你们这是怎么回事。
