耶穌在殿中揚聲而訓之曰：『爾曹知予、亦知予所自來、固矣、顧予非自來、實有遣之者、此則非爾曹之所知也。

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, because I came from God and I am here. For I didn’t come on my own, but he sent me.

Then they asked him,“ Where is your Father?”“ You know neither me nor my Father,” Jesus answered.“ If you knew me, you would also know my Father.”

“ I have many things to say and to judge about you, but the one who sent me is true, and what I have heard from him— these things I tell the world.”

You live in a world of deception. In their deception they refuse to know me. This is the LORD’s declaration.

so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.

This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent— Jesus Christ.

“ Even if I testify about myself,” Jesus replied,“ My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I’m going. But you don’t know where I come from or where I’m going.

I have come in my Father’s name, and yet you don’t accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them. His mother kept all these things in her heart.

Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.

Hear the word of the LORD, people of Israel, for the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of the land: There is no truth, no faithful love, and no knowledge of God in the land!

“ If I glorify myself,” Jesus answered,“ my glory is nothing. My Father— about whom you say,‘ He is our God’— he is the one who glorifies me.You do not know him, but I know him. If I were to say I don’t know him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know him, and I keep his word.

They will do these things because they haven’t known the Father or me.

Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David,

Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene.

Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.What am I going to do with you, Ephraim? Your love is like the morning mist and like the early dew that vanishes.This is why I have used the prophets to cut them down; I have killed them with the words from my mouth. And if I do judge, my judgment is true, because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.

Those who know your name trust in you because you have not abandoned those who seek you, LORD.

For as I was passing through and observing the objects of your worship, I even found an altar on which was inscribed,‘ To an Unknown God.’ Therefore, what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you.

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who lives in me does his works.

The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about his Son.

furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.

in the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.

The one who has accepted his testimony has affirmed that God is true.

No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the LORD,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

There is another who testifies about me, and I know that the testimony he gives about me is true.

Righteous Father, the world has not known you. However, I have known you, and they have known that you sent me.

“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Nathanael asked him.“ Come and see,” Philip answered.

Eli’s sons were wicked men; they did not respect the LORD

For I have not spoken on my own, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a command to say everything I have said.

And because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right.

Their actions do not allow them to return to their God, for a spirit of promiscuity is among them, and they do not know the LORD.

As God is faithful, our message to you is not“ Yes and no.”
