你看祂这样公开讲道，居然没有人说什么，难道官长也真的认为祂是基督吗？

看，他还在公开讲话，他们也没有对他说什么。难道首领们真的认为这个人就是基督吗？

你看，他公然放膽地講話呢，他們也不向他說甚麼！難道議員們真知道這個人是上帝所膏立者麼？

看，他還在公開講話，他們也沒有對他說什麼。難道首領們真的認為這個人就是基督嗎？

今彼侃侃而談、無與之言者、有司誠知其為基督乎、

今彼明言、而眾莫之禁、豈有司知其誠基督乎、

今彼顯言、而無人斥之、豈有司知其誠為基督乎、

今乃公然施訓、而莫之誰何！豈當局已確認其為基督乎？

Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah?

Here he is! He is speaking openly. They aren’t saying a word to him. Have the authorities really decided that he is the Messiah?

And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ?

But here he is, speaking in public, and they say nothing to him. Could our leaders possibly believe that he is the Messiah?

Yet, look, he’s speaking publicly and they’re saying nothing to him. Can it be true that the authorities know he is the Messiah?

And yet look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. The rulers do not really know that this is the Christ, do they?

But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

And lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Christ?

Yet, look! He’s speaking publicly and they’re saying nothing to Him. Can it be true that the authorities know He is the Messiah?

But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

Yet here he is, speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to him. Do the rulers really know that this man is the Christ?

Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ?

官长或法利赛人中间有谁是信他的呢？

恶人虽然没有人追赶，仍然逃跑；义人却像狮子，放胆无惧。

他们看见彼得和约翰的胆量，也知道这两个人是没有学问的平民，就很惊奇；同时认出他们是跟耶稣一伙的，

他不灰心，也不沮丧，直到他在地上设立公理，众海岛的人都等候他的教训。

但法利赛人和律法师，未受过约翰的洗礼，就拒绝神对他们的美意。

他的父母这样说，是因为怕犹太人，原来犹太人已经定好了，不论谁承认耶稣是基督，就要把那人赶出会堂。

因为神所赐给我们的，不是胆怯的灵，而是有能力、仁爱、自律的灵。所以，不要以给我们的主作见证当作羞耻，也不要以我这为主被囚的当作羞耻，却要为了福音的缘故，靠着神的大能，与我同受磨难。

我的口要述说你的公义，终日讲述你的救恩，尽管我不知道它们的数量。我要来述说主耶和华大能的事；我要提说你独有的公义。

于是祭司长和法利赛人召开公议会，说：“这个人行了许多神迹，我们怎么办呢？我们若让他这样，所有的人都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地，除灭我们的民族。”他们当中有一位该亚法，是那年作大祭司的，对他们说：“你们什么都不知道，也不去想想，一个人代替人民死，免得整个民族灭亡，这对你们是有益的。”他说这话不是由于自己，而是因为他是那年的大祭司，所以预言耶稣要替犹太民族死；不但替犹太民族死，也要把散居各地的神的儿女招聚成为一体。从那天起，他们就想杀害耶稣。

我要在大会中传扬公义的福音；我必不禁止我的嘴唇；耶和华啊！这是你知道的。我没有把你的公义隐藏在心里；我已经述说了你的信实和救恩；在大会中，我没有隐瞒你的慈爱和诚实。

他们派了自己的门徒和希律党的人一同去问耶稣：“老师，我们知道你为人诚实，照着真理把神的道教导人，不顾忌任何人，因为你不徇情面。

而且大多数主内的弟兄，因我所受的捆锁，就笃信不疑，毫无畏惧，更勇敢地传讲神的道。

但主耶和华必帮助我，所以我必不羞愧，因此我板着脸好像坚硬的燧石，我也知道我必不会蒙羞。那称我为义的，与我相近；谁与我争讼呢？让我们一同站起来吧！谁是指控我的？让他就近我来。

虽然这样，官长当中也有许多人信了耶稣。但是因为法利赛人的缘故，他们不敢公开承认，免得被赶出会堂；

也要为我祈求，使我传讲的时候，得着当说的话，可以坦然无惧地讲明福音的奥秘，（我为这奥秘作了被捆锁的使者），也使我按着应当说的，放胆宣讲这福音的奥秘。
