Jesus said to them,“ I did one miracle, and you are all amazed.

Jesus replied,“ I did one miracle on the Sabbath, and you were amazed.

“ I performed one work, and you are all amazed,” Jesus answered.

You circumcise a boy on the Sabbath day. You think that if you do, you won’t break the law of Moses. Then why are you angry with me? I healed a man’s entire body on the Sabbath day!

In Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate is a pool. In the Aramaic language it is called Bethesda. It is surrounded by five rows of columns with a roof over them.Here a great number of disabled people used to lie down. Among them were those who were blind, those who could not walk, and those who could hardly move.
