摩西非以律授爾乎、第爾中無一行律者、何為欲殺我耶、

摩西豈不以律法授爾、第爾曹無一遵者、不然、何為欲殺我、

且摩西不曾授爾以法乎？而爾中竟無一人守法也。

Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?”

“ Did Moses not give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why are you seeking to kill Me?”

For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death.

After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn’t walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.

For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

But the Pharisees went out, and conspired against him, how they might destroy him.

Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.

Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near. The people shall not go up with him.”Moses came and told the people all Yahweh’s words, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said,“ All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do.”

You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.”

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves,‘ This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?For“ the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” just as it is written.For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?Won’t the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

They sought again to seize him, and he went out of their hand.

Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

They insulted him and said,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said,“ Isn’t this he whom they seek to kill?

For this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on the Sabbath.

For as many as have sinned without the law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Therefore Jews took up stones again to stone him.Jesus answered them,“ I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?”

As it is written,“ There is no one righteous; no, not one.There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God.They have all turned away. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not so much as one.”“ Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is under their lips.”“ Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood.Destruction and misery are in their ways.The way of peace, they haven’t known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

saying,“ The scribes and the Pharisees sat on Moses’ seat.All things therefore whatever they tell you to observe, observe and do, but don’t do their works; for they say, and don’t do.For they bind heavy burdens that are grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not lift a finger to help them.

“ Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,

This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living revelations to give to us,

He said to them,“ Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?” But they were silent.

Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh, and against his Anointed, saying,“ Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:“ Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”
