由己言者、求榮己、惟求榮遣之者為真、心無不義也、

Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

就約翰曰、夫子、昔偕爾在約但外、爾所證者、今施洗、而眾就之、約翰曰、非由天授、則人無所受、昔我曾自言非基督、乃奉使於其先、爾曹可證、新娶者有新婦、新娶者之友立以待、聞新娶者之聲則甚喜、如是、我喜甚矣、彼必興、我必衰、

父乎、願爾顯名、自天有聲云、我既顯之、必再顯之、

既出、耶穌曰、今人子榮、上帝以之而榮、上帝以人子而榮、則上帝將自榮人子、而速榮之、

爾勿阻我、我怒甚烈、盡滅斯族、昌熾爾裔、以成大邦。摩西於其上帝耶和華前、求之曰、昔爾以巨能大力、導斯民出埃及、今何怒之甚烈乎、浸假行是、則埃及人必將曰、耶和華既導民出、反欲加害、殺之山中、滅之於地、爾其息怒、勿害斯民。求爾憶念爾僕。亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列、昔爾指己而誓、必熾昌其後、如天星之眾多、錫以所言之地、俾為永業。

我為基督使徒、得以轄爾、但我不求譽於爾、亦不求譽於人、

耶穌曰、我若自榮、則不得為榮、榮我者父、即爾所稱爾之上帝、

摩西曰、豈緣我故有所嫉乎。願耶和華悉賦億兆以神、使之感神而言。

我榮爾於世、爾所委我行者、我已行之、父乎、今使我與爾偕榮、即世之先、我與爾共在之榮也、

多食其蜜非善、自求其榮非榮。
