Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

Here is how someone can find out whether my teaching comes from God or from me. That person must choose to do what God wants them to do.

If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.

If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is of God, or I am speaking from Myself.

Why don’t you understand what I say? Because you cannot listen to my word.

Who is this person who fears the LORD? He will show him the way he should choose.

The LORD is good and upright; therefore he shows sinners the way.He leads the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.

I have kept my feet from every evil path to follow your word.I have not turned from your judgments, for you yourself have instructed me.

Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained.

The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.”

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

The people here were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, since they received the word with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

and many nations will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the LORD’s declaration.“ I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the LORD,’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the LORD’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their iniquity and never again remember their sin.

But the seed in the good ground— these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring, produce fruit.

I have sought you with all my heart; don’t let me wander from your commands.

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.

The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he reveals his covenant to them.

A road will be there and a way; it will be called the Holy Way. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for the one who walks the path. Fools will not wander on it.

Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.

He reported to us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying,‘ Send to Joppa, and call for Simon, who is also named Peter.He will speak a message to you by which you and all your household will be saved.’

There was a man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment.He was a devout man and feared God along with his whole household. He did many charitable deeds for the Jewish people and always prayed to God.About three in the afternoon he distinctly saw in a vision an angel of God who came in and said to him,“ Cornelius.”Staring at him in awe, he said,“ What is it, Lord?” The angel told him,“ Your prayers and your acts of charity have ascended as a memorial offering before God.Now send men to Joppa and call for Simon, who is also named Peter.He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea.”
