Among the crowds there was widespread whispering about him. Some said,“ He is a good man.” Others replied,“ No, he deceives the people.”

And there was a lot of murmuring about him among the crowds. Some were saying,“ He’s a good man.” Others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, he’s deceiving the people.”

And there was a great deal of talk about Him in secret among the crowds: some were saying,“ He is a good man”; others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, He is misleading the people.”

And there was much complaining among the people concerning Him. Some said,“ He is good”; others said,“ No, on the contrary, He deceives the people.”

And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray.

And there was a lot of discussion about Him among the crowds. Some were saying,“ He’s a good man.” Others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, He’s deceiving the people.”

听见这些话后，有些人说：“祂真是那位先知。”也有些人说：“祂是基督。”还有些人说：“不会吧，基督怎么会出自加利利呢？圣经上不是说基督是大卫的后裔，要降生在大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”众人因为对耶稣的看法不同，就起了纷争。

有些法利赛人说：“那个人不是从上帝那里来的，因为祂不守安息日。”有些人却说：“如果祂是个罪人，又怎能行这样的神迹呢？”他们就争论起来。

法利赛人说：“难道你们也被祂迷惑了吗？

法利赛人听见众人这样议论耶稣，就联合祭司长派差役去抓祂。

有些住在耶路撒冷的人说：“这不是他们要杀的那个人吗？你看祂这样公开讲道，居然没有人说什么，难道官长也真的认为祂是基督吗？可是基督来的时候，根本没有人知道祂从哪里来，我们却知道这个人是从哪里来的。”

无论做什么事，都不要抱怨，也不要与人争论，

有一位名叫约瑟的公会议员心地善良、为人正直，

他们试图逮捕耶稣，但又害怕百姓，因为百姓都认为耶稣是先知。

百夫长见此情形，便赞美上帝，说：“这人的确是个义人。”

“总督大人，我们记得那个骗子生前曾说，‘三天之后，我必复活。’

学生顶多和老师一样，奴仆顶多和主人一样。连一家之主都被骂成是别西卜，更何况祂的家人呢？

在场的人惊惧万分，把荣耀归给上帝，说：“我们中间出了一位大先知！”又说：“上帝眷顾了祂的百姓！”

到了凯撒利亚·腓立比境内，耶稣问门徒：“人们说人子是谁？”门徒回答说：“有人说是施洗者约翰，有人说是以利亚，也有人说是耶利米，或其他某位先知。”耶稣问：“那么，你们说我是谁？”西门·彼得回答说：“你是基督，是永活上帝的儿子！”

善人心存良善，就从他里面发出良善；恶人心存邪恶，就从他里面发出邪恶。因为心里充满的，口里自然会说出来。

耶稣说：“你为什么称呼我‘良善的老师’呢？只有上帝是良善的。

巴拿巴是个被圣灵充满、信心坚定的好人。那时信主的人大大增加。

他们回答说：“难道你也是加利利人吗？你去查查看，就会知道没有先知是从加利利来的。”

犹太人因这番话又起了纷争。他们当中好些人说：“祂被鬼附身了！祂疯了！何必听祂的？”又有些人说：“被鬼附身的人不会说这种话的，鬼能医好瞎眼的人吗？”

为义人死，是罕见的；为好人死，也许有敢做的；

大家看见耶稣行的这个神迹，都说：“这人真是那位要来到世上的先知！”
