Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?” (niv)

So he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee. (niv)

When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. (niv)

“ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other,‘ This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ (niv)

Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. (niv)

Herod wants to kill you.”He replied,“ Go tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day— for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! At that point some of the people of Jerusalem began to ask,“ Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill? (niv)
