如果有人在这城迫害你们，就逃到别的城去。我实在告诉你们，你们还没有走遍以色列的各城，人子就来到了。

佃户看见他的儿子，就彼此说：‘这是继承产业的；来，我们杀了他，占有他的产业吧！’

现在我把从神那里听见的真理告诉了你们，你们竟然想杀我，这不是亚伯拉罕所作的。

我知道你们是亚伯拉罕的后裔；但你们想杀我，因为你们心里不能容纳我的道。

从那天起，他们就想杀害耶稣。因此，耶稣不再在犹太人中间公开活动，却离开那里，到旷野附近的地方去；到了一座名叫以法莲的城，就和门徒住在那里。

他们又要逮捕耶稣，他却从他们的手中逃脱了。耶稣又往约旦河东去，到约翰从前施洗的地方，住在那里。
