Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away?

耶稣就对那十二个门徒说：“你们也要去吗？”

于是耶稣问那十二个门徒：“你们也要离开我吗？”

于是耶稣对十二门徒说：“你们也想离去吗？”

耶稣就对十二使徒说：“你们也不会想离开吧？”

耶穌就對那十二個門徒說：「你們也要去嗎？」

耶穌就對那十二使徒說：「你們也要離開嗎？」

耶穌就對那十二使徒說：「你們也要離開嗎？」

於是耶穌問那十二個門徒：「你們也要離開我嗎？」

於是耶穌對十二門徒說：“你們也想離去嗎？”

於是耶穌就對那十二個人說：『難道你們也想要去麼？』

耶穌就對十二使徒說：「你們也不會想離開吧？」

耶穌謂十二徒曰、爾亦欲去乎、

耶穌謂十二徒曰、爾曹亦欲去乎、

耶穌謂十二門徒曰、爾曹亦欲去乎、

因此門徒多有退者、不復從其遊。

“ You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

“ You don’t want to leave also, do you?” Jesus asked the 12 disciples.

So Jesus said to the Twelve,“ Do you want to go away as well?”

Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked,“ Are you also going to leave?”

So Jesus said to the Twelve,“ You don’t want to go away too, do you?”

So Jesus said to the twelve,“ You do not want to leave also, do you?”

Then Jesus said to the twelve,“ Do you also want to go away?”

Therefore Jesus said to the Twelve,“ You don’t want to go away too, do you?”

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

So Jesus said to the twelve,“ You don’t want to go away too, do you?”

Jesus said therefore to the twelve,“ You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? have I yet sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should even have a husband to- night, and should also bear sons;would ye therefore tarry till they were grown? would ye therefore stay from having husbands? nay, my daughters, for it grieveth me much for your sakes, for the hand of Jehovah is gone forth against me.And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother- in- law, but Ruth clave unto her.And she said, Behold, thy sister- in- law is gone back unto her people, and unto her god: return thou after thy sister- in- law.And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee, for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God;where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: Jehovah do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me.And when she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, she left off speaking unto her.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.And the people answered and said, Far be it from us that we should forsake Jehovah, to serve other gods;for Jehovah our God, he it is that brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and that did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the peoples through the midst of whom we passed;and Jehovah drove out from before us all the peoples, even the Amorites that dwelt in the land: therefore we also will serve Jehovah; for he is our God.And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Jehovah; for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgression nor your sins.If ye forsake Jehovah, and serve foreign gods, then he will turn and do you evil, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve Jehovah.And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you Jehovah, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return, and abide with the king: for thou art a foreigner, and also an exile; return to thine own place.Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.

Now there went with him great multitudes: and he turned, and said unto them,If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doth not first sit down and count the cost, whether he have wherewith to complete it?Lest haply, when he hath laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all that behold begin to mock him,saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.Or what king, as he goeth to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and take counsel whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and asketh conditions of peace.So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Jesus answered them, Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
