Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.

For I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.I know that his commandment is eternal life. The things therefore which I speak, even as the Father has said to me, so I speak.”

Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision?Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the revelations of God.

But as it is written,“ Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit.But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
