for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

This is my comfort in my misery, That Your word has revived me.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

So also it is written:“ The first man, Adam, became a living person.” The last Adam was a life giving spirit.

But what does it say?“ The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”— that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.But if the ministry of death, engraved in letters on stones, came with glory so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory?

The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much pure gold; Sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.And I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of mere men, but as what it really is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living person.

for bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.But a person must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.

Do not be misled by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the benefit of circumcision?Great in every respect. First, that they were entrusted with the actual words of God.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

but just as it is written:“ Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a violator of the Law, your circumcision has turned into uncircumcision.
