As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said,“ Take and eat it; this is my body.”Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them and said,“ Drink from it, all of you.For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

because my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink.

Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me.

“ Truly I tell you, anyone who believes has eternal life.

Jesus answered,“ Truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate the loaves and were filled.Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal of approval on him.”

Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“ Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it.

“ Truly I tell you,” he said,“ unless you turn and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as well.

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.

Jesus answered,“ Truly I tell you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

“ You will never wash my feet,” Peter said. Jesus replied,“ If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass away from the law until all things are accomplished.

“ Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Jesus told him,“ Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
