Then Jesus, when he looked up and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, said to Philip,“ Where can we buy bread so that these people may eat?”

When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip,“ Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?”

Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him. So he said to Philip,“ Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?”

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”

Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked,“ Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?”

So when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward him, he asked Philip,“ Where will we buy bread so that these people can eat?”

So Jesus, after raising His eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him,* said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat?”

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip,“ Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”

Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude cometh unto him, saith unto Philip, Whence are we to buy bread, that these may eat?

Therefore, when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward Him, He asked Philip,“ Where will we buy bread so these people can eat?”

When Jesus then lifted up[ his] eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Jesus therefore lifting up his eyes, and seeing that a great multitude was coming to him, said to Philip,“ Where are we to buy bread, that these may eat?”

Now the day began to draw to a close, so the twelve came and said to Jesus,“ Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and food, because we are in an isolated place.”But he said to them,“ You give them something to eat.” They replied,“ We have no more than five loaves and two fish– unless we go and buy food for all these people.”

“ I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already been here with me three days, and they have nothing to eat.If I send them home hungry, they will faint on the way, and some of them have come from a great distance.”His disciples answered him,“ Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

On the next day Jesus wanted to set out for Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow me.”

As Jesus came ashore he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he taught them many things.When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said,“ This is an isolated place and it is already very late.

As he got out he saw the large crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.When evening arrived, his disciples came to him saying,“ This is an isolated place and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

The disciples said to him,“ Where can we get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy so great a crowd?”

Don’t you say,‘ There are four more months and then comes the harvest?’ I tell you, look up and see that the fields are already white for harvest!
