So then the Jews were complaining about Him because He said,“ I am the bread that came down out of heaven.”

At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

Then the Jews there began to complain about Jesus. That was because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

Then the people began to murmur in disagreement because he had said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

Therefore the Jews started grumbling about him because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

The Jews then complained about Him, because He said,“ I am the bread which came down from heaven.”

The Jews therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, I am the bread which came down out of heaven.

Then the Jews who were hostile to Jesus began complaining about him because he said,“ I am the bread that came down from heaven,”

I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying,“ How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

I am the bread of life.

This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Stop complaining among yourselves.

The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling to His disciples, saying,“ Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

And there was a great deal of talk about Him in secret among the crowds: some were saying,“ He is a good man”; others were saying,“ No, on the contrary, He is misleading the people.”

And both the Pharisees and the scribes began to complain, saying,“ This man receives sinners and eats with them.”

As a result of this many of His disciples left, and would no longer walk with Him.

So then many of His disciples, when they heard this, said,“ This statement is very unpleasant; who can listen to it?”

These are grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage.

When the people saw this, they all began to complain, saying,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner!”

Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroyer.
