For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

蓋罪惡之償值、死亡、上帝之恩賜、永生也、要惟賴吾主耶穌基督為然、

見我即見遣我者、

耶穌曰、復生者我、生命者亦我、信我者雖死必生、

使信之者免沉淪而得永生、○蓋上帝以獨生之子賜世、俾信之者免沉淪而得永生、其愛世如此、且上帝遣子臨世、非以罪世、乃以救世、○信者不定罪、不信者即定罪、以不信上帝獨生子之名也、

勿為可敗之糧而勞、當為永生之糧而勞、即人子與爾者、蓋父上帝以印命之也、

飲我所予之水、永不渴、我所予之水、必於其中為源、混混至永生也、

頃之、世人不復見我、惟爾見我、以我生、爾亦生、

我上帝耶和華至聖、展一臂之力、救彼選民、使列國地極之人、皆親見之。

爾曹咸集我所、共論古昔預言斯事者誰乎、非我耶和華乎、惟我為上帝、秉公義、拯兆民、我外無他、地之四極、望予以獲救、我乃上帝、我外無他。

夫道成人身、居於我儕之間、我儕見其榮、誠天父獨生子之榮、以恩寵真理而滿也、○

以我目擊救主、

其所許我者永生、

其證何耶、上帝賜我永生、必因其子而賜之、心交上帝子、則得生、不心交上帝子、則不得生、余書達爾、俾信上帝子者、知有永生、使爾恆信上帝子、

爾愛上帝是務、望吾主耶穌基督慈惠俾得永生、

我之日、爾祖亞伯拉罕極欲見之、見則樂矣、

受膏者生若草萊、萌於荒野、根株長於槁壤、容貌不揚、威儀不秩、人所共見、無艷羨之心、

爾既以萬民之權賜我、則我以永生賜爾所予我之人、

昔上帝命光照暗、今照吾心、使知上帝榮、在耶穌基督而顯、

我賜之永生、終不沉淪、無能奪之於我手、

罪惡乘權、死者攸係、恩寵稱義乘權、永生可致、要惟賴吾主耶穌基督為然、

信子者永生、不信子者不生、上帝怒恆在其上矣、

我知其命乃永生、故我所言者、遵父命而言也、

信而受洗者得救、不信者定罪、

即真理之神、世人不能接者、為其不見不識之也、爾識之、以與爾偕、將居爾心、

爾於耶穌末見而愛之、未睹而信之、遂喜不勝、尊榮之至、非言所能盡、

摩西有信、則離埃及不惴王怒、其恆心如見無形之上帝、

信則所望若既得、未見而可憑、
