For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

And this is the promise that he hath promised us,[ even] eternal life.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He that hath the Son hath life;[ and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw[ it], and was glad.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
