耶穌曰、我乃維生之餅、就我者必不飢、信我者永不渴、

Then Jesus declared,“ I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

猶太人因耶穌言我即自天而降之餅、遂訾議之、

於節之末日、即大日也、耶穌立而呼曰、人若渴、宜就我飲、信我者、如經所言、將有活水之川、由其腹而流焉、

我乃維生之餅、爾祖食瑪那於野、亦死焉、食而不死者、天降之餅也、我乃維生之餅、自天而降、人食之則永生、我所將予之餅、即我之肉、為世之生而予者也、○猶太人遂爭論曰、斯人焉能以其肉食我乎、耶穌曰、我誠語汝、非食人子肉、而飲其血、則爾衷無生矣、食我肉、飲我血者、有永生、我於末日復起之、蓋我肉誠為食、我血誠為飲也、食我肉、飲我血者、居我中、我亦居彼中焉、維生之父遣我、我因父而生、食我者因我而生亦若是也、此乃自天而降之餅、非如列祖食瑪那而死、食此餅者、必永生也、

凡口渴者、其來就水、無金者來購而食之、來沾酒乳、不需金、不索值、不足為糧者、胡權金以市之、不能果腹者、胡勤勞以得之、其謹聽我、而食嘉肴、且飫肥甘、致心悅懌、側耳就我、諦聽我言、則可得生、我與爾立永約、即所許大衛之實惠、

不飢不渴、日不之暴、暑不之侵、矜憫之者必引之、導經水源、

彼不復飢渴、日與熱必不侵之、

耶穌曰、飲此水者將復渴、惟飲我所予之水者、永不渴、蓋我所予之水、將於其中為泉、湧至永生、

凡父予我者、將就我、就我者、我必不棄之、

蓋我受於主以授爾者、即主耶穌見賣之夜、取餅祝而擘之、曰、斯乃我身、為爾者也、行此以憶我、餐後取杯亦然、曰、此杯乃新約、在於我血、每飲時、行此以憶我、蓋爾每食此餅、飲此杯、乃表主死至其臨焉、凡食主餅、飲主杯、而不合宜者、即干主身與血也、人當自省、然後食斯餅、飲斯杯、不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、

凡勞苦負重者就我、我賜爾安、

爾今飽者禍矣、以爾將飢也、爾今笑者禍矣、以爾將哀而哭也、

然爾弗欲就我以得生、

我所祝之杯、非與基督之血乎、我所擘之餅、非與基督之身乎、蓋我眾乃一餅一體、因皆共此一餅也、試觀依形軀之以色列人、食祭物者、非與於祭壇乎、

又曰、故我嘗語爾、非父予之、無能就我也、○

非遣我之父引之、無能就我、就我者、我於末日復起之、先知載云、眾將蒙上帝之訓焉、凡聽於父而學之者、則就我、
