They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

他们就问：“那么，你行个什么神迹，好让我们看了就可以信你呢？你可以做什么呢？

他們又說：「你行甚麼神蹟，叫我們看見就信你；你到底做甚麼事呢？

於是他們對他說：「你行甚麼神蹟，好讓我們看見而信你呢？你到底要做甚麼呢？

他們又問：「那麼，你行什麼神蹟讓我們看了可以信你呢？你要做什麼呢？

於是他們就說：“你要行甚麼神蹟，讓我們看了就信你呢？你到底能作甚麼呢？

於是他們對耶穌說：『那麼你行甚麼神迹、叫我們看見來信你呢？你作甚麼工啊？

他們就問：「那麼，你行個什麼神蹟，好讓我們看了就可以信你呢？你可以做什麼呢？

眾曰、爾行何異蹟、使我見而信爾乎、爾何所為乎、

曰、爾行何異跡、使我見而信爾、爾果何以哉、

曰、爾行何異跡、使我見而信爾、爾果何行、

眾曰：『汝有何靈徵、使我見而信之乎？汝亦何所務乎？

So they asked him,“ What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

So they asked him,“ What sign will you give us? What will you do so we can see it and believe you?

So they said to him,“ Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

They answered,“ Show us a miraculous sign if you want us to believe in you. What can you do?

“ What sign, then, are you going to do so that we may see and believe you?” they asked.“ What are you going to perform?

So they said to Him,“ What then are You doing as a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work are You performing?

Therefore they said to Him,“ What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do?

They said therefore unto him, What then doest thou for a sign, that we may see, and believe thee? what workest thou?

“ What sign then are You going to do so we may see and believe You?” they asked.“ What are You going to perform?

So they said to him,“ Then what miraculous sign will you perform, so that we may see it and believe you? What will you do?

They said therefore to him,“ What then do you do for a sign, that we may see and believe you? What work do you do?

But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father[ is] in me, and I in him.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

( For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say,[ It will be] fair weather: for the sky is red.And in the morning,[ It will be] foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O[ ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not[ discern] the signs of the times?A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This[ is] the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that[ are] upon it shall be poured out.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

That say, Let him make speed,[ and] hasten his work, that we may see[ it]: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know[ it]!

The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:[ then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace[ be] unto you.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust[ it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed[ are] they that have not seen, and[ yet] have believed.

Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David;[ Is it] a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

God also bearing[ them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
