Jesus replied,“ This is the work of God— that you believe in the One He has sent.”

耶稣回答说：“信神所差来的，这就是做神的工。”

耶稣说：“信上帝所差来的那位，就是做上帝的工作。”

耶稣回答说：“信神所派来的那一位，就是做神的工作。”

耶穌回答說：「信神所差來的，這就是做神的工。」

耶穌曰、信其所遣者、即上帝之工也、

耶穌曰、信其所遣者、即稱上帝之事、

耶穌曰、信天主所遣者、即行天主之事、

耶穌對曰：『能信天主所遣者、斯誠天主之務矣。』

Jesus answered,“ The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered,“ God’s work is to believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Jesus told them,“ This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus replied,“ This is the work of God— that you believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Jesus replied,“ This is the deed God requires– to believe in the one whom he sent.”

Jesus answered them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.

So they said,“ Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved— you and your household.”

After He was perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him,

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Now to the one who works, pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed.But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him.

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.I will hold accountable whoever does not listen to My words that he speaks in My name.

Pay homage to the Son or He will be angry and you will perish in your rebellion, for His anger may ignite at any moment. All those who take refuge in Him are happy.

Then he said,‘ The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear the sound of His voice.For you will be a witness for Him to all people of what you have seen and heard.And now, why delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.’

What should we say then? Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained righteousness— namely the righteousness that comes from faith.But Israel, pursuing the law for righteousness, has not achieved the righteousness of the law.

Because they disregarded the righteousness from God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted themselves to God’s righteousness.For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me.

“ For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him. Listen to Him!
