耶穌應曰：『予切實語爾、爾等追求於予、非為曾見靈蹟、乃為食餅而飽耳。

Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.

Jesus answered,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. You are not looking for me because you saw the signs I did. You are looking for me because you ate the loaves until you were full.

Jesus answered them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs.

Jesus answered,“ Truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate the loaves and were filled.

Jesus answered them and said,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate some of the loaves and were filled.

因為大家只顧自己的事，而不理耶穌基督的事。

你們求也得不到，因為你們的動機不良，要把所得的耗費在你們的私慾上。淫亂的人哪，你們不知道與世俗為友，就是與神為敵嗎？所以與世俗為友的，就成了神的仇敵。

因為這樣的人不服事我們的主基督，只服事自己的肚腹，用花言巧語欺騙老實人的心。

那時他們才相信他的話，唱歌讚美他。可是他們很快就忘記了他的作為，不仰望他的意旨，反而在曠野大起貪慾，在沙漠試探神。

他們的結局是滅亡，他們的神是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，所思想的都是地上的事。

他們的心對他不堅定，也不忠於和他所立的約。

他們成群來到你那裡，坐在你面前，像是我的子民一樣。其實他們聽了你的話，卻不去行；他們只是用口表示愛慕，他們的心卻是追隨不義之財。

就和那些心術敗壞，喪失真理的人不斷地爭吵。他們視敬虔為得利的門路。

西門看見使徒一按手，就有聖靈賜下來，就拿錢給他們，說：“請把這權柄也給我，叫我為誰按手，誰就可以受聖靈。”彼得對他說：“你的銀子跟你一同滅亡吧！因為你以為神的恩賜，是可以用錢買的。你和這件事是毫無關係的，因為你在神面前存心不正。

有一大群人，因為看見了他在病人身上所行的神蹟，就跟隨了他。

耶穌回答：“我實實在在告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。

耶穌回答：“我實實在在告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。”

耶穌知道群眾要來強迫他作王，就獨自又退到山上去了。

群眾見耶穌和門徒都不在那裡，就上船往迦百農去找耶穌。

我實實在在告訴你們，信的人有永生。

然而你們中間卻有不信的人。”原來從起初耶穌就知道那些不信的是誰，那要把他出賣的又是誰。

於是他們就說：“你要行甚麼神蹟，讓我們看了就信你呢？你到底能作甚麼呢？

耶穌就對他們說：“我實實在在告訴你們，你們若不吃人子的肉，不喝人子的血，就沒有生命在你們裡面。
