天快亮的時候，耶穌在湖面上行走，向他們而去。門徒們看見耶穌在湖面上行走，就驚慌不安，說：「是幽靈！」他們害怕得喊叫起來。

我不會撇下你們為孤兒，我要回到你們這裡來。

耶和華在至高處大有能力，勝過大水的聲音，勝過海洋巨大的波浪！

耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王，直到永遠。

在他們說這些話的時候，耶穌親自站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」他們就驚慌，感到害怕，以為看到了幽靈。耶穌對他們說：「你們為什麼驚慌不安？為什麼心裡起疑惑呢？你們看我的手、我的腳，確實是我。摸我看看！幽靈沒有骨，也沒有肉，你們看，我是有的。」

然而，那些人還是拼命划槳要回到陸地，卻是不能，因為海浪越來越洶湧，衝向他們。

伯大尼離耶路撒冷不遠，約有三公里。

榨酒池在城外被踐踏，就有血從榨酒池裡流出來，高到馬的嚼子，遠達三百公里。

那城布置為四方形，長度和寬度一樣。天使用蘆葦測量那城，有兩千兩百公里；她的長、寬、高都是相等的。

正好在同一天，門徒中有兩個人往一個村子去；這村子名叫以馬忤斯，離耶路撒冷約有十一公里。
