When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened.

到了晚上，門徒的船在湖中心，耶穌獨自留在岸上。大約凌晨三點鐘，祂看見門徒在逆風中搖櫓，非常吃力，就從水面上朝門徒走去，想要從他們旁邊經過。門徒看見有人在湖面上走，以為是幽靈，嚇得驚叫起來。

天將破曉的時候，耶穌從水面上向門徒走去。門徒看見有人在湖面上走，都嚇壞了，說：「是幽靈！」他們害怕得又喊又叫。

祂獨自鋪展穹蒼，步行在海浪之上。

我不會撇下你們為孤兒，我必到你們這裡來。

高天之上的耶和華充滿力量，超過咆哮的洪水和怒吼的大海。

耶和華坐在洪濤之上，耶和華永遠坐著為王。

正說的時候，耶穌出現在他們中間，說：「願你們平安！」他們又驚又怕，以為是看見了鬼魂。耶穌說：「你們為什麼憂心忡忡？為什麼心存疑惑呢？你們看我的手和腳，就知道真的是我。來摸摸看，鬼魂沒有骨和肉，你們看！我有。」

然而船上的人還是拚命划船，希望把船划向岸邊，可是沒有成功，因為風浪實在太大了。

船夫把你搖到汪洋之中，但東風要把你擊碎在海中。

伯大尼離耶路撒冷不遠，大約只有三公里的路，

葡萄在城外的榨酒池中被踩踏，血從榨酒池中湧出，高至馬的嚼環，流了三百公里遠。

聖城是正方形的，長寬相等。天使用量桿丈量那城，長、寬、高都是兩千二百公里。

同一天，有兩個門徒前往離耶路撒冷十一公里的以馬忤斯村，
