After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

The people saw the sign that Jesus did. Then they began to say,“ This must be the Prophet who is supposed to come into the world.”

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said,“ This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed,“ Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!”

When the people saw the sign he had done, they said,“ This truly is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which he did, they said, This is of a truth the prophet that cometh into the world.

When the people saw the sign He had done, they said,“ This really is the Prophet who was to come into the world!”

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another,“ This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said,“ This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

眾曰、加利利拿撒勒先知耶穌也、○

遣二門徒、問耶穌曰、當來者爾乎、抑他人是望乎、

眾聞此、有曰、是誠先知者、

厥後爾上帝耶和華將於爾同儕中、挺生先知如我、爾其聽從。昔於何烈民會之日、爾求爾上帝耶和華曰、我上帝耶和華之聲、毋庸再聞、厥火炎炎、毋容復見、恐我死亡。當時耶和華諭我曰、民言甚善、我必於其同儕中、挺生先知若爾、我將以我言授於其口、使以我命告眾、

曰、爾為誰、以利亞乎、曰、否、曰、抑當來之先知乎、曰、否、

猶大族中、代有秉鈞執政之人、待賜安者至、民咸歸之。

婦曰、我觀主乃先知者、

謂以色列人、曰、主、爾上帝將於爾昆弟中、挺生先知若我、爾必聽之、

謂婦曰、今我儕非為爾言而信、乃親聽之、知其誠基督、救世者也、○

婦曰、我知彌賽亞將至、其至必以眾理告我、彌賽亞、蓋言基督也、

昔摩西語我列祖云、主、爾之上帝、將於爾兄弟中、挺生先知若我、其所語爾者、必聽之、不聽、則絕之於民中、自撒母耳以來、諸先知預言、亦指此日、

曰、何事、曰、拿撒勒人耶穌、先知也、在上帝烝民前、言行兼優、

眾駭、歸榮上帝、曰大先知興於我中、上帝眷顧其民矣、
