After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

The people saw the sign that Jesus did. Then they began to say,“ This must be the Prophet who is supposed to come into the world.”

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said,“ This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed,“ Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!”

When the people saw the sign he had done, they said,“ This truly is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another,“ This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said,“ This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

众人说：“这是从加利利的拿撒勒来的先知耶稣。”

问耶稣：“将要来的那位就是你吗？还是我们要等候另一位呢？”

众人听见这些话，有的说：“这真是那先知。”

“耶和华—你的上帝要从你弟兄中给你兴起一位先知像我，你们要听他。这正如你在何烈山大会的那日向耶和华—你的上帝所求的一切，说：‘求你不要再叫我听见耶和华—我上帝的声音，也不要再叫我看见这大火，免得我死亡。’耶和华对我说：‘他们说得对。我必在他们弟兄中给他们兴起一位先知像你。我要将当说的话放在他口里；他要将我一切所吩咐的都告诉他们。

他们又问他：“那么，你是谁？是以利亚吗？”他说：“我不是。”“是那位先知吗？”他回答：“不是。”

权杖必不离犹大，统治者的杖必不离他两脚之间，直等细罗来到，万民都要归顺他。

妇人对他说：“先生，我看你是一位先知。

这人是摩西，就是那曾对以色列人说‘上帝要从你们弟兄中给你们兴起一位先知像我’的。

他们对那妇人说：“现在我们信，不再是因为你的话，而是我们亲自听见了，知道这人真是世界的救主。”

妇人对他说：“我知道弥赛亚—就是那称为基督的—要来；他来了，会把一切的事都告诉我们。”

摩西曾说：‘主—你们的上帝要从你们弟兄中给你们兴起一位先知像我，凡他向你们所说的一切，你们都要听从。凡不听从那先知的，必将从民中灭绝。’从撒母耳以来和后继的众先知，凡说预言的，也都曾宣告这些日子。

耶稣对他们说：“什么事呢？”他们对他说：“就是拿撒勒人耶稣的事。他是个先知，在上帝和众百姓面前，说话行事都大有能力。

众人都惊奇，归荣耀给上帝，说：“有大先知在我们当中兴起了！”又说：“上帝眷顾了他的百姓！”
