After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed,“ Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!”

Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said,“ This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another,“ This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

When therefore the people saw the sign which Jesus did, they said,“ This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.”

众人说：“祂是先知耶稣，来自加利利的拿撒勒。”

“你就是那位我们所等候的救主吗？还是我们要等别人呢？”

听见这些话后，有些人说：“祂真是那位先知。”

你们的上帝耶和华要在你们中间选立一位像我一样的先知，你们要听从他。这正是你们在何烈山聚会时向你们的上帝耶和华所求的，当时你们说，‘不要让我们再听见我们上帝耶和华的声音，也不要让我们再看见这烈火，免得我们死亡。’于是，耶和华对我说，‘他们说的对。我要在他们当中选立一位像你一样的先知，我会告诉他该说的话，他要把我的一切吩咐告诉他们。

他们问：“那么，你是谁？是以利亚吗？”他说：“不是。”他们又问：“你是那位先知吗？”他说：“也不是。”

王权必不离犹大，御杖必伴他左右，直到那位执掌王权的来到，万民都必归顺他。

妇人说：“先生，你一定是先知。

就是这位摩西曾对以色列人说，‘上帝要在你们中间兴起一位像我一样的先知。’

他们对那妇人说：“现在我们信，不再是因为你的话，而是我们亲耳听见了，知道祂真的是救世主。”

妇人说：“据我所知，那被称为基督的弥赛亚要来。祂来了，会把一切都告诉我们。”

摩西曾经说，‘主——你们的上帝将要在你们中间兴起一位像我一样的先知。你们要留心听祂的话，凡不听的，必将他从民中铲除。’“从撒母耳到后来的所有先知都宣告过这些日子。

耶稣问：“什么事？”他们说：“就是拿撒勒人耶稣的事。祂本来是个先知，在上帝和百姓面前言谈举止充满力量。

在场的人惊惧万分，把荣耀归给上帝，说：“我们中间出了一位大先知！”又说：“上帝眷顾了祂的百姓！”
