拿着这七个饼和几条鱼，祝谢了，擘开，递给门徒；门徒又递给众人。

守日子的人是为主守的。吃的人是为主吃的，因他感谢神；不吃的人是为主不吃的，他也感谢神。

坐下来和他们用餐的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝福了，擘开，递给他们。

保罗说了这话，就拿起饼来，在众人面前祝谢了神，然后擘开来吃。

你们一进城，他还没有上丘坛吃祭物之前，就会遇见他。因为他没有到，百姓不能吃，必须等他先为祭物祝谢，然后受邀的人才可以吃。现在就上去吧，因为这时候你们会遇见他。”

神所造之物样样都是好的，若存感谢的心领受，没有一样是不可吃的，都因神的话和人的祈祷而成为圣洁了。

所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为荣耀神而做。
