注重某一天的人，是為主而注重的；吃的人，是為主而吃的，因為他感謝神；不吃的人，也是為主不吃的，他也感謝神。

當耶穌與他們一同坐席的時候，他拿起餅來，祝福了，然後掰開遞給他們。

說完這些話，保羅就拿起餅，在大家面前感謝神，然後掰開來，開始吃。

你們一進城就會遇見他——那時正是他登上高所用餐之前；民眾不會在他來到之前吃，一定要等他為祭物祝謝了才吃；之後客人才開始吃。現在上去吧，因為你們立刻就會遇見他。」

原來神所造的一切都是美好的；如果以感謝的心領受，就什麼也不用丟棄，因為藉著神的話語、藉著代求，這些都被分別為聖了。

因此，你們無論或吃、或喝、或做什麼，一切都要為神的榮耀而做。
