Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all( being first, by interpretation,“ king of righteousness”, and then also“ king of Salem”, which means“ king of peace”,without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually.Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the best plunder.They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham,but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises.But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.We can say that through Abraham even Levi, who receives tithes, has paid tithes,for he was yet in the body of his father when Melchizedek met him.

All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Make a venomous snake, and set it on a pole. It shall happen that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.”Moses made a serpent of bronze, and set it on the pole. If a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked at the serpent of bronze, he lived.

So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”

For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.

since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed in him?

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”

Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, don’t you listen to the law?For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.However, the son by the servant was born according to the flesh, but the son by the free woman was born through promise.These things contain an allegory, for these are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Hagar.For this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to the Jerusalem that exists now, for she is in bondage with her children.But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.For it is written,“ Rejoice, you barren who don’t bear. Break out and shout, you who don’t travail. For the desolate have more children than her who has a husband.”Now we, brothers, as Isaac was, are children of promise.But as then, he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.However what does the Scripture say?“ Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”So then, brothers, we are not children of a servant, but of the free woman.

Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring, all the families of the earth will be blessed.

For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
