我知爾無愛天主之心、

惟予洞悉爾等、知爾心中不存愛主之情也。

but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.

and because He did not need anyone to testify about man; for He Himself knew what was in man.

How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.

You’ve never known Him, but I know Him. If I were to say I don’t know Him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know Him, and I keep His word.

For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart.No creature is hidden from Him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.

If anyone says,“ I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen.

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love Me, because I came from God and I am here. For I didn’t come on My own, but He sent Me.

I will kill her children with the plague. Then all the churches will know that I am the One who examines minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.

He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” He said,“ Lord, You know everything! You know that I love You.”“ Feed My sheep,” Jesus said.

The one who hates Me also hates My Father.If I had not done the works among them that no one else has done, they would not have sin. Now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.

Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said about him,“ Here is a true Israelite; no deceit is in him.”“ How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,” Jesus answered.“ Rabbi,” Nathanael replied,“ You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so.

The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.”

Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.

And He told them:“ You are the ones who justify yourselves in the sight of others, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly admired by people is revolting in God’s sight.
