yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

But you refuse to come to me and receive life.

yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

But you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thus saith Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of Jehovah that is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who hath chosen thee.

He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.

Work not for the food which perisheth, but for the food which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, even God, hath sealed.

Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.

Who hath believed our message? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed?For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not.

Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.And we have believed and know that thou art the Holy One of God.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he die, yet shall he live;and whosoever liveth and believeth on me shall never die. Believest thou this?

But my people hearkened not to my voice; And Israel would none of me.

But because I say the truth, ye believe me not.Which of you convicteth me of sin? If I say truth, why do ye not believe me?

How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and the glory that cometh from the only God ye seek not?

For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they believed not on him:that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?For this cause they could not believe, for that Isaiah said again,He hath blinded their eyes, and he hardened their heart; Lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, And should turn, And I should heal them.These things said Isaiah, because he saw his glory; and he spake of him.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.
