nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.

且心中亦不存其道也、是無他、爾等不信其所遣者也。

nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.

And his word does not live in you. That’s because you do not believe the one he sent.

and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.

and you do not have his message in your hearts, because you do not believe me— the one he sent to you.

Also you do not have His word remaining in you, because you do not believe Him whom He sent.

But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he sent, him ye believe not.

You don’t have His word living in you, because you don’t believe the One He sent.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

You don’t have his word living in you, because you don’t believe him whom he sent.

I have written to you, children, that you have known the Father. I have written to you, fathers, that you have known him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young people, that you are strong, and the word of God resides in you, and you have conquered the evil one.

These words I am commanding you today must be kept in mind,and you must teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up.You should tie them as a reminder on your forearm and fasten them as symbols on your forehead.Inscribe them on the doorframes of your houses and gates.

But Jesus shouted out,“ The one who believes in me does not believe in me, but in the one who sent me,and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me.I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in darkness.If anyone hears my words and does not obey them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.The one who rejects me and does not accept my words has a judge; the word I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

My child, keep my words and treasure up my commands in your own keeping.Keep my commands so that you may live, and obey my instruction as your most prized possession.

Who would have believed what we just heard? When was the LORD’s power revealed through him?He sprouted up like a twig before God, like a root out of parched soil; he had no stately form or majesty that might catch our attention, no special appearance that we should want to follow him.He was despised and rejected by people, one who experienced pain and was acquainted with illness; people hid their faces from him; he was despised, and we considered him insignificant.

So put away all filth and evil excess and humbly welcome the message implanted within you, which is able to save your souls.But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.

but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

This is what the LORD, the protector of Israel, their Holy One, says to the one who is despised and rejected by nations, a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see and rise in respect, princes will bow down, because of the faithful LORD, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen you.”

This law scroll must not leave your lips! You must memorize it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful.

He came to what was his own, but his own people did not receive him.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.The one who believes in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.Now this is the basis for judging: that the light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed.But the one who practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you.

Who among you can prove me guilty of any sin? If I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me?The one who belongs to God listens and responds to God’s words. You don’t listen and respond, because you don’t belong to God.”

My child, if you receive my words, and store up my commands within you,by making your ear attentive to wisdom, and by turning your heart to understanding,

If you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.But if you do not believe what Moses wrote, how will you believe my words?”

In my heart I store up your words, so I might not sin against you.

I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. But you want to kill me, because my teaching makes no progress among you.
