“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、

然我有證、大於約翰者、蓋父賜我所成之事、即我所行之事、證父遣我也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

Jesus replied,“ I told you and you do not believe. The deeds I do in my Father’s name testify about me.

If I had not performed among them the miraculous deeds that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen the deeds and have hated both me and my Father.

came to Jesus at night and said to him,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered them,“ Go tell John what you hear and see:

If I do not perform the deeds of my Father, do not believe me.But if I do them, even if you do not believe me, believe the deeds, so that you may come to know and understand that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.”

Now while Jesus was in Jerusalem at the Feast of the Passover, many people believed in his name because they saw the miraculous signs he was doing.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

The man replied,“ This is a remarkable thing, that you don’t know where he comes from, and yet he caused me to see!We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is devout and does his will, God listens to him.Never before has anyone heard of someone causing a man born blind to see.If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

“ Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man clearly attested to you by God with powerful deeds, wonders, and miraculous signs that God performed among you through him, just as you yourselves know–

I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.

But some of them said,“ This is the man who caused the blind man to see! Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus from dying?”

Jesus said to them,“ My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to complete his work.

There is another who testifies about me, and I know the testimony he testifies about me is true.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds.Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me, but if you do not believe me, believe because of the miraculous deeds themselves.
