但我卻有見證比約翰的大；因為父所給我、要我完成的工——我所作的這些工——正為我作見證父差遣了我。

然我有證、大於約翰者、蓋父賜我所成之事、即我所行之事、證父遣我也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

耶穌回答他們說：『我告訴過你們了，你們不信；我奉我父的名所行的這些事為我作見證；

我若沒有在他們中間行過別人所沒有行過的事，他們就沒有罪；如今呢、連我與我的父、他們都看見了，也都恨惡了。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：『老師，我們知道你是從上帝那裏來做教師的；因為一個人、若不是上帝與他同在，就不能行你所行的這些神迹。』

耶穌回答他們說：『你們去把所聽見所看見的報告約翰：

我若不是在作我父的事，你們就不必信我。我若在作，你們縱然不信我，也該信這些事啊，叫你們又知道又明白父在我裏面，我也在父裏面。』

當逾越節的時候、耶穌在耶路撒冷過節；節期之中，有許多見他所行的神迹，便信了他的名。

因為上帝差遣那兒子到世界上來，不是要定世人的罪，乃是要叫世人藉着他而得救。

那人回答他們說：『可希奇的就在這一點了！他開了我的眼，你們竟不知道他是從哪裏來的！我們知道上帝不聽有罪的人；但若有人是敬拜上帝的，又遵行他的旨意，上帝才聽他。從今世之初以來，沒聽說過有人開了生來瞎眼者的眼睛啊。這人若不是從上帝來的，他就不能作甚麼了。』

『以色列人哪，你們要聽這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌、一個蒙上帝用異能奇事神迹向你們所證許的人；（這一切事、照你們自己所知道的、是上帝藉着他在你們中間施行過的）；

我已經在地上榮耀你；你所給了我、叫我作的工，我已經完成了。

上帝將真而永的生命賜給我們；而這生命乃是在他兒子裏面：所見證的就是這個。擁有這兒子的、才有生命；沒有上帝兒子的、就沒有生命。

其中有人說：『這個人、開了瞎子眼睛的、豈不能叫這人也不死麼？』

耶穌對他們說：『實行差我者的旨意、而完成他的工：這就是我的食物。

乃是另有一位為我作見證，我知道他為我作的見證是真實的。

我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你們不信麼？我所對你們說的話語，不是憑着自己講的；乃是住在我裏面的父作他的事。你們要信我在父裏面，父也在我裏面；即或不然，也要因我所作的事本身來信我。
